The HP-21 was a basic scientific calculator from the late 1970s. It was basic, but well thought out and well made. It was a delight to use.<\/p>\n

Features<\/h2>\n

The calculator had:
\n– Trigonometric functions (SIN, COS, TAN) and their inverses
\n– Worked in degrees or radians
\n– e^x, natural logs, 10^x and Log10
\n– Normal (fixed decimal point) notation and scientific notation
\n– A memory
\n– Storage register arithmetic<\/p>\n

The hp21w also comes with:
\n– A microcode debugger so you can see how it works
\n– No need to use the debugger if you just want to use the calculator<\/p>\n

You can download a copy by clicking the button below. It is a ZIP file so the process is:
\n– download it
\n– unZIP it anywhere you want
\n– double-click “run.bat”<\/p>\n

Buying a copy<\/h2>\n

The download will run for 10 years without you needing to pay for it. If you install it on a new standalone computer sometime in that 10 years, or on a new company network in the same period; it will run for another 10 years. You can do that as many times as you need to.<\/p>\n
