Notepad

Most phones have a notepad built in.

They are already there. You can enter text. You can read it back. You can have lots of notes. They are pretty good.

On my phone (Nokia 5230 at present) the downsides are:

– Whilst I can sync with a PC using a custom program, I can’t get the notes into or from normal PC files.

– I can only edit “notes” on the phone. It won’t allow me to edit anything created by other apps.

So, if you’re frustrated with having to write the same notes in lots of places, this might interest you.

NOTE: I haven’t done the application which will allow you to swap notes with any device anywhere (via the internet) yet; but that is where this is going.
You can edit files created by other applications.

Yes but

What does it cost?
Nothing.
