HP21w – A HP-21 for Windows

The HP-21 was a basic scientific calculator from the late 1970s. It was basic, but well thought out and well made. It was a delight to use.

The calculator had:
– Trigonometric functions (SIN, COS, TAN) and their inverses
– Worked in degrees or radians
– e^x, natural logs, 10^x and Log10
– Normal (fixed decimal point) notation and scientific notation
– A memory
– Storage register arithmetic

The hp21w also comes with:
– A microcode debugger so you can see how it works
– No need to use the debugger if you just want to use the calculator

The download will run for 10 years without you needing to pay for it. If you install it on a new standalone computer sometime in that 10 years, or on a new company network in the same period; it will run for another 10 years. You can do that as many times as you need to.

If you would like to buy a copy, or contribute some money as a thank you, it would be appreciated. You don’t have to. Doing so is entirely up to you. If you do want to, there’s a link below. If you’d like to contribute more, feel free to buy more than one copy.
